I’m stopping at a year. Or when COvid ends and my husband stops freaking out about the “virus on the clothes”. I pick and choose my battles. My brother-in-law was the youngest of 12. He never had new clothes. His family was unfortunately poor. So his clothes were always washed before he wore them as they were hand me downs. Well now even in his late 40’s he still washes clothes before putting them on. He got so used to it, he gets rashes with new clothes. But personally I’ve always loved the way new clothes felt prior to being washed. And I still don’t always wash my new clothes (don’t tell my husband 🤫). 😁
