Possible Ectopic with IUD?

So for two days I have been having this dull pail in my lower abdomen and it hurts more when I move, stretch and if I lay down and relax my stomach it hurts worse. It steadily seems to be getting worse. I have had 2 periods in December (or abnormal bleeding). I Google, I know bad idea, and it's pointing to ectopic. Any one have an ectopic with iud? Please share your experience with me, if you feel comfortable.

Is your string still in tack? Make an appt and get an ultrasound to see if it moved.

I would go see your doctor just in case even if you feel your strings in tack. It doesn't hurt to check and it could be nothing but it's better to be safe than sorry. Ectopic pregnancies are dangerous. I have never had one but I have thought I did before after having almost the same symptoms and googling myself in to a frenzy as well. After going to the doctor I found out that it wasn’t my iud but actually fibroids. I had to get the fibroids removed but I would never have known if I didn't go to the doctor to check it out. I hope everything goes well.
