Off dark red roof/New siding

Okay so my husband and I just bought our first house, the house has a off yellow white siding with red shutters and a Dark green door and the roof is a burnt dark red color, it's not grey. My first fix of the house I'd like to spend my own $ and fix the outside. I'm stuck on color choices. Choice #1 is a Light grey siding with white trim and white Shutters and have the front door a pop of color. Choice #2 white siding with white trim and have the shutters a pop of color and have the front door match the shutters. I have been watching alot of HGTV and it seems like grey & white & Blues are in right now. What's your opinion?
