Placenta started to calcify? 32 weeks?
Hello! Went to my growth scan today, I'm 32 weeks and 3 days. He is measuring a little smaller but is long. (She called him a string-bean.) This is normal for me I just have small babies. BUT something that terrified me, is when they said my placenta has started to calcify. Doctor has me going back twice a week for NSTs, Dopplers and then scheduled ultrasounds for every other week. My csection is already scheduled for 37 weeks due to a unrelated medical reason. He is head down, my placenta is I'm front of him and he is facing my spin so I don't feel lots of kicks and punches more like rolling around. (Which she said is normal, that any movement is good movement.) Besides that during the ultrasound he was kicking and moving around so much she was having a hard time getting measurements. Also let me know that blood flow from placenta was good. I guess what I'm asking is for similar experiences. I'm just so terrified something is going to go wrong, I've done nothing but stress out. Thank you ladies!
