I just had to gush. My daughter just turned two and she picked up a nickel and said, "Ah! My lucky loony! But, it's a nickel." Then she picked up another coin and said, "Oh, a dime!" And sure enough, it was a dime. She counts to 20 with me, knows all her colours, shapes (even parallelagram, hexagon, rhombus, diamond, cube, cone, and triangular prism). I just can't even say how proud I am. She picks things up so well and she's such a joy...now we've been trying for another baby and have been for awhile, I feel I am so blessed to have her in my life at all. She's a beautiful soul..her humour is ballin' too. She's the funniest kid.

***she has a piggy bank and we sit together and count the coins together. She's never left unattended with them, she hasn't put things in her mouth since she was just over a year, and she's a very good listener when I tell her not to do something.***
