PCOS/Irregular periods & Clom

I had been on hormonal birth control since high school (now in my late 20’s). I had the Skyla IUD for about 5 years and had it removed March 2020, and started my TTC journey (almost a year ago now). It took 5 months to get my first period after the IUD removal, then I never had another-going on 6 months now. My doctor diagnosed me with PCOS and prescribed Clomid to help with ovulation. Since I haven’t had a period, I just stared taking the 50mg pill right away for the 5 days. Wondering if anyone else used or is using Clomid with not having a period? Success stories and what happened with your cycle?
