Hi I have been consistently monitoring my fasting blood sugar levels and for the last three time it's between 101-104 mg/dL. Currently I am in my 27 weeks and really worried if thata affecting the baby. My doc suggested to keep a close watch atleast 1-4 times more with strict diet..

Sadly if it keeps over 100 you are safer with insulin which I am sure they will give you.
Do you have carbs for dinner?try to avoid them and try to go for a walk after dinner.also eat a protein bedtime snack

Are those fasted numbers or how long after meals? If it’s 2h after meals, those numbers are great. If they’re fasted, you need insulin most likely or try some serious diet changes.

Omg, sorry pregnancy Brain! Those are way too high for fasted numbers!! 
They want a fasted range between 74-94. What’s your diet and carb/sugar intake like daily? If you’re diet is already good, you should ask to go on a low dose of insulin. I only needed a small dose (6units) to keep my fasted numbers normal.

So like everyone said, they are high for fasting numbers. Mine were the same and now I'm on 8 units at bedtime. Also, yiu shouldn't go more than 8 hours without eating, so eat as close to bedtime as you can and test your blood first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up. My doctor told me to have a snack then like a special k protein bar to hold me over until breakfast

Do you have a snack an hour before bed? I will switch between veggies with ranch dressing, 2 chocolate chip cookies with a small glass of milk. That seems to keep my fasting numbers under 90.
