When do you plan to stop pumping?

Honestly, I’d love to go until she is 1 and drinking cows milk. But unless something changes, I don’t know if I’ll make it that long.
Pumping is super painful for me and gives me anxiety and a lot of anger and just general upset about it. I’ve sat and cried through pumping sessions and I’ve sat and yelled at my husband over it too. I’m going tomorrow to the lactation consultant to see what they can do to help to try to extend it out past 2 months. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ideally around a year but realistically until my baby girl is fully weaned. My freezer stash isn’t much, maybe about 2 weeks worth and thus far in times when I needed to defrost a bag it leaked. 😪 Thankfully I still pump enough to feed my baby and have a decent fridge supply.

I stopped at 8 months, by then I had quit my job and had been doing a morning session still for a couple of months so I had a stash big enough to get through date nights/church events until she was a year old. I popped a bottle of champagne that night for sure!

My goal was to have enough milk in the freezer to sustain her until her first birthday (which wouldve been around 1000oz). My body started to dry up around 8m and i had to give it up
