First monitoring appointment didn’t go as expected

I’m devastated. After 7 days of stims, my scan only showed 7 follicles. I was shocked. My doctor was shocked. We were both expecting a much larger response. She is increasing my meds for 2 more nights then I will go in for another scan to see how things have progressed. She said there were a few smaller follicles that she wasn’t counting and was hoping the extra meds would give them a boost. I’m a little worried because 2 of my follicles were already pretty big (14mm and 12mm) but they are starting me on Certrotide tonight and they said that will keep them from ovulating on their own. Still worried about losing them. She kept assuring me that it’s quality over quantity but I’m still really worried and scared that this is all for nothing.

I’m struggling and heartbroken. Please tell me there’s still a chance this will be okay.
