Did your ped push you to breast feed?

So I’m exclusively pumping and getting a great supply. I’m a week and a half postpartum and I’m getting 6 oz a pump session which I do over 8 times a day. I told my sons ped this and she was REALLY pushing to nurse him. I told her I was breast feeding and she said it wasn’t breastfeeding because he wasn’t to breast. She kept making remarks after checking his mouth about how he’d be great at breastfeeding and telling me they have a

Lactation consultant that works there I could talk to. I had to tell her no probably 6 times.
