I’ve seen many posts where many fathers just don’t seem interested in helping us mothers & that makes me so sad to hear. Even though mine works 12 hour days, he comes home in daddy mode ready to take over for me. Granted it’s not a REAL break because I’ll usually shower cook & do laundry BUT to be able to do things around the house knowing he has the baby occupied just makes things so much easier! & he’s genuinely excited to be spending time with his son. I’ll catch him talking to him about cars and his work day. He’ll play his Xbox but have the baby on his chest explaining the game & what he’s doing lol it just melts my heart. & on top of that he even alternates feedings in the night with me. & I always tell him not too because I know he has a long day when he gets up but he still does it. I’m just very very grateful.
