Anyone starting to limit toys to the toy room?

Question

So we pretty much got toys in every room but I just now took the toy box out of the living room and moved them into the toy room. I know they're still going to make their way up here but having that in the living room made it too easy for him to destroy the room in a matter of seconds lol. Is now a good time to try and teach him that's where he goes to play or at this age do I just let him play wherever?

We dont have a toy room so our toys are always in the living room. I keep toys out of her bedroom tho. I dont want her getting distracted at night. We have a toy box in the living room and I pick up toys multiple times a day.

We have a toy room on our main floor...but it’s very open, so toys migrate EVERYWHERE. Someday, when we finish our basement, all toys will be in the basement or in their rooms. When they are little they get so destructive with toys and I’m hoping to keep the main level of my house looking relatively neat and put together. I think as they get older, they will have the capacity to listen better and keep toys in a specific area when asked...but right now, that isn’t happening.

We haven't moved into our new house yet but she finally has a playroom there 🙌 all toys will be kept in there and only a reading nook in her bedroom.  I can't wait. I'm so tired of tripping over toys.  I can just shut the door and not have to look at them!

We have toy areas in the house. The playroom is upstairs so up there he knows toys stay in there but downstairs it’s kind of a free for all. We have an open floor plan and have an area between the kitchen and living room which he has a lot of his smaller toys stored, some bigger toys in the living room like his jeep, toy kitchen and work bench and in the kitchen a closed in play area. The enclosed play in area in the kitchen was more for when he was little, we took the gate down one day and he was totally messed up so we put it back up.

We don't have a toy room. All Ivys toys are in the livingroom, and some soft toys in her room. Somehow though I can probably find at least one toy scattered around each room of the house... or something else that shes stolen and hid somewhere. I found a christmas tree bauble down the side of the toilet yesterday 😂

My daughter is an only child and might be a little spoiled 😂 
We have a playroom upstairs where the majority of her toys are. Her bedroom only has books in it. And in our living room downstairs she has a small play area. She definitely doesn’t play independently well yet so I wanted some toys in the living room too because I don’t want to have to sit in her playroom with her all day. 
We do have her clean up her toys with us. It’s kind of routine at this point that we clean up the living room together around 6:00-6:30 then head upstairs to settle down. Then when she goes to bed and we come downstairs the living room is always clean 🙌🏼

Before Christmas we made all her shit fit in her room. Then,between all her grandparents..... she got a ton more shit. So its all over the living room and her bedroom again 🙄

We have a playroom on the second floor but I keep her kitchen and table in the living room because it’s easy for me to watch her while I cook and etc. But they match the living room and then I have a few puzzles so it’s no biggie. I like to keep everything organized though! All the rest of the toys are in the playroom
