Would you drive 45 minutes for work?

I want to get a new job but it’s 45 minutes away and I don’t know if I should

45 minutes isn't that bad. I travelled for anything from 30 minutes to two hours a day to work for five years (traffic dependent).

Yes I did drive 1hour and 20minutes for 2,5 year. Listened to audiobooks. 
Got a new job when we started planning to have kids.

I did for 7 years, it was fine, part of my routine, i actually enjoyed the alone time most days. BUT now with kids I would not be comfortable being that far away from daycare if I needed to pick up my daughter so it’s dependent on our childcare location for me.

Yeah I drive about 50-55 mins everyday and have to leave at 4 am. Soon I'm going to have to start leaving at 3 am

LOL! 45 minutes is nothing for me. I live 30+ miles away from my job, and traffic is heinous. I spend about 1.5 hours each in the car both ways. It’s worth it for a great job!

I drive 6 mins to work. I don’t make good money but have good benefits/retirement, discount on hospital services, diapers for 3$/cs. And it’s easy work for the most part. I can leave if I have to if my kids need something. My husband makes more than 3x as much as me but drives an hour to work and works hard. If I had to find a better job I would have to drive further. Thank God my hubby makes the $$.
