What is everyone doing after baby COVID

Question

So what are your families rules and regulations for when you return home from the hospital with baby.
Will you make sure grandparents can visit?
Everyone has to wear a mask?
Handwahing?
No kissing?
My husband and I are all over the place with how we want to do this and are curious what other families are doing. We also will have a 23 month old at the same time who stays home with me. 😊thanks!

No rules for us. They’ll be at the house when we get home. Masks not necessary but they can do what they want lol. As long as they bring food, I sorta don’t care. Plus only super close people see us usually so we pretty know where they’ve been cause we talk everyday 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Wear a mask, yes. 
Keeping a LOW visitors list (my mom, and mother in love, sister in love) during this time. 
Hand washing is a must! 
Kissing — never kiss a newborn. Their immune systems are too weak for that. Even if it wasn’t COVID-19 going on right now, I do not let people kiss my babies.

I’m having immediate family come over once we are home from the hospital. Having them wash their hands and make sure they’re not sick. Staying low for a couple of weeks after that but nothing crazy. I won’t keep my family away

For us we are having everyone wear a mask around the baby and keep your distance, and no holding our daughter until she is a month old. Even then you must wear a mask, wash hands, and if you are sick or think you are sick don’t come around, and since everyone has to wear a mask absolutely no kisses.

I plan to limit it to my husband and I ‘s siblings, nieces, nephews, and my parents and grandparents. No aunts, uncles, cousins or friends will be allowed till she is at least a month or two old. Everyone will be required to wear a mask which will be interesting since my brother-in-law and his family of 4 plan to stay with us. (Not my choice) and I already told people that if I hear a sniffle, sneeze or cough they will have to leave. Probably rude, but oh well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My hospital only allows 1 support person while I’m there which will be my bf. My mom is staying with us a couple days as if it weren’t covid she would be there for me during labor but since she can’t I want her there when I get home. Otherwise my little siblings can come over, and my bf’s parents and sister but otherwise I don’t want anyone else around honestly. I have a couple coworkers I’m very close to that want to give me gifts after I have him which I’m ok with but they won’t be able to touch him which they all know and are ok with.

Honestly I’m making everyone wear mask. I have a stepson who’s always getting a cold so when he’s holding baby I want him to wear a mask but other then that he doesn’t have to. But when he wears his I’m asking my daughter too as well and I’ll probably will too. So he doesn’t feel alone. My parents and his family will wear one. While holding him. But he’ll only really be around me, bf, my daughter and stepson. My parents will be there after baby is born so my daughter isn’t alone. His parents live 5 hours away but he’s picking his mom up so she can help with baby for a week. I want him around family but he probably won’t be until after his shots because my bf family is only here and most them have had Covid. But I plan to video chat every one throughout so they can see him.

Ugh I am DREADING having to tell people this. My husband’s family is not careful, his mom doesn’t even plan to get the vaccine, and she doesn’t like wearing a mask. 
I already left Christmas as soon as I got there because there were people there outside my bubble and no one had a mask on. 
Soooo...maybe they’ll be expecting some sort of craziness from me? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope. Business as usual.
When my first was born it was flu season, if anyone is feeling any kind of symptom they can stay home.
It is no different for my second. He will be born in February just like my first. Same thing applies.
Common sense says wash your hands before you touch a baby, so I’m expecting everything to have that common sense. I’m not going to babysit adults or force them to go by toddler rules.
