I had a shave biopsy to rule out melanoma and it came back negative. But now a dark spot has appeared again in the same spot. Should I go back to the dermatologist?

Same thing happened to me, went back, and it was fine. Your derm will probably recommend you come back annually to make sure it doesn't change.
