How much are you spending on your diaper bag and what are you getting ?

I used my diaper bag twice. When my son was young I used to carry 3 diapers and travel sized baby wipes and a couple bags in my purse and be on my way. When he needed a bottle again just popped it in my purse with formula powder already in the bottle then added filtered water when I need it.

I’m a huge fan of the diaper backpacks. Got a $30 one off Amazon and so worth it! Planning on getting the same for my second baby.

the one on my registry is maybe $50 i had one that was $150 but i changed it because i’m not even sure if i’ll use it because i hate backpacks

We got a backpack one for our first that was pretty reasonably priced. It was nice to have a designated bag that definitely had wipes, diapers and changes of clothes in it, but it doesn’t have to be fancy. I’m saying this with the caveat that we breastfed exclusively we never used the cooler function of our diaper bag.

You may want to buy nothing or buy something lower priced until you have the baby and see what your actual needs are. I had a diaper bag backpack for baby #1 but simply won't be able to carry everything for 2 babies in any sort of bag so I'm planning to keep most "diaper bag" items in the car and only carry the essentials inside with us in a large purse or small diaper bag. If we need to change a diaper, we'll go do that at the car. With our first, we only ever needed to change a diaper away from home like 5 times, ever. Ymmv.

I got a Fawn Design original on sale for $90 and I’ve been using it for a couple months. With my first, I went through three of four cheap diaper bags and didn’t love any of them. I think that this one will last through all my kids so it was worth the investment for me. 😊

It was one of my main things on my registry for my firstborn and I think it was around $35/40 bucks. I will use it for this one as well. It’s like a grey backpack and has worked great for us.
