Fibroedema questions

I was recently diagnosed with a fibroedema of the breast- my left one. After my diagnosis I did my research and they’re supposed to be essentially painless unless you’re on your period or about to be on your period. Mine is always painful to the point that it has started to effect my work. I’ve tried taking ibprophen for it and it does nothing for the pain. When I mentioned this to my doctor I was dismissed because I’m young.

Anyone who has a fibroedema, is yours painful all the time too?

If so what do you do for the pain? Nothing works for me.

Please help me out. I’m trying not to worry but it’s hard to put it out of your mind when you’re in pain constantly.
