1st trimester screen no gender?

Did anyone get a 1st trimester screening both ultrasound and blood work and not receive a gender result?

Mine didn’t because it looks at hormone levels only
The one I had to pay $500 for told me

The first trimester screening only tests your hormones. The test that tells you baby’s gender is a free cell DNA test which looks for baby’s DNA in your blood. They’re totally different tests.

Where do you live? I'm in Canada and they don't detect gender with the standard first trimester screening. I'm not sure why when you get blood drawn for it anyways 🤷‍♀️

I had mine done at 10 weeks which told us gender but fortunately I have good insurance!

Yep. The genetic screening I had didn't test for gender.

Yes, because the genetic screening I chose didn’t tell gender. It depends on which screening test you did. If it was nipt they usually do tell gender, but it may vary by company.
