I am really hoping to get some advice.

We recently adopted a 6 month old Siamese kitten. We have him in our master bathroom to help him adjust to the new living situation.

He has everything he could need in the bathroom.

- litter box

- food and water

- toys

- a covered bed

-blankets

- scratching post

We are unsure about his past but I don’t think he was handles very much. He is super timid. I was wondering what else I can be doing to help him feel more like home. Also how long is the adjustment period usually?

Just a little discouraged when I see people with new kittens who are a part of the family for the getgo.
