Gripe Water???

Question

Has anyone tried this? My 3 month old seems to be having some stomach issues. Bends his knees & cries :(. At night sometimes he makes these noises like he’s in pain or discomfort so I begin to rub his tummy and he falls back to sleep. I wanted to try this tonight to see if this works. Has anyone tried this? Thank you

Based in the UK, my baby was a little sore tummied when she was little and whenever it flared up, we gave her some gripe water. It just seems to bind the wind together in their bellies, and push it through their digestive system and makes it come out as a fart. 
I have given it to my baby since she was around two weeks. 
The reason it might not be regulated in the USA is because it’s essentially just sugar water....try some. That also helps babies take it from a syringe, the sweet flavour.

Our pediatrician is adamant that we NOT use this bc it’s not regulated by the FDA. They tested the product and found stuff in it that should not be anywhere near babies. She highly advises using Mylicon drops, trying different holding positions, etc. Basically anything but this.

We always used a Mylicon Gas Drops for our son when we had gas issues. We thought he actually had slight colic but once we started using the Mylicon drops he was a new baby. Also, if you are breastfeeding, I would track what you are eating to see if there is a pattern of when you eat certain things he gets gassy. May need to avoid those foods. And then same with if you are formula feeding, you may need to switch to something gentler on his stomach. Good luck momma!

I have heard bad things about this brand, some have said it made their babies turn blue. Not sure how or why but just a warning. I love the Little Remedies brand for gripe water though.

Yes!!! My daughter gets bad gas 🥺 I give her this after she eats (breastfed) and I also do the bicycle legs on her and rub her tummy. I actually prefer this over the Mylicon drops.

Yes! My son is bottle fed and this helps so much with his gas. We have this one for daytime and there is a nighttime version as well.
