pregnancy. Something that I never truly wanted until I met my husband. The thought of having kids always frightened me deep down. I always knew I’d become a mother but I never really desired that until I got married. If anyone understands how exhausting and painful the TTC journey is, it’s me. It’s a wonderful journey that is supposed to be fun and exciting, but some people don’t understand the toll it takes on those who have issues becoming pregnant. Although I am deeply happy for all of my friends and family who have been able to get pregnant so easily, it’s hard not to feel sadness, jealously, anger, or even sometimes resentment. We have been trying since June 2020 to conceive a child. And while on this journey I discovered I have PCOS. Which causes women like me, to have a harder time getting pregnant. I’ve underwent all these new medications and vitamins to help greater my chances of fertility and pregnancy but so far, no luck. I took this test this morning because I felt like I could be pregnant, but it was negative. As discouraging as this is, I will not give up. I will fight for my family and future children. Because even though I have not met them yet, I love them so dearly. If you are struggling, know you are not alone. Don’t give up hope or faith.
