My baby won't nap

My little boy is now 10 months. The first 6 months he was a perfect baby. Never fussy, a brilliant sleeper no matter where or when and generally, as most mothers tell me, an all round easy baby.

But that has all changed since he can pull himself up.

My sweet little boy now refuses to self settle during the day.

Nights are easy, so I'm confused why the day is so hard.

I've tried everything.

We sing, have a similar set up to bedtime, dark room, bottle but nothing will make him sleep.

I've tried the cry to sleep method for a week - didn't work.

I tried delaying and bringing forward his nap - didn't work

Cuddle him in my bed - sometimes.

We've had about 2 months of struggling to get him to sleep in his cot during the day.

The pram, bike hanger, car or me, anything moving is the only thing that works.

Please has anyone been able to overcome this issue, and how?

I'm at my wits end and don't want this bad habit to continue
