At what age did your baby start putting themselves to sleep?

My 6 month old can put herself to sleep in the morning but that’s it. During the rest of the day for naps and bedtime she has to be rocked. As soon as i put her down in her crib she wakes up few minutes later crying. But when she puts herself to sleep in her boppy she sleeps longer. Does she hate her crib?!

2 weeks... I think I got lucky! We did nothing different she just falls into deep sleeps fast we put her down around 8 and she would try to sleep for 12 hrs she did for 1 night and then after that I woke her up to feed ever 3 hrs as i feel 2 weeks is too young to go 12 hrs without food. 
But even now at 4 months she does 8pm - 6/7am straight

6 months is a good age to start sleep training. You can consult with your pediatrician and do some research on it.

Eight weeks, but we had a sleep consultant. 
You should put her down awake instead of asleep or drowsy. Babies tend not to like waking up in a different place they fell asleep in, so instead of waking up and falling back asleep she’s waking up and crying. It’s also much harder to transfer them without waking as they get older. Definitely try putting her down awake, and using a sound machine while making sure it’s completely dark. Also if you don’t already have a nap routine, I would start one. We change, put him in his sleep sack, turn the sound machine on, and say goodnight to 5 things in his room then put him down and leave.
