Do you compare the number and one-day volume of breastfeedings of your baby with WHO guidelines?

Hi there! I'm FTM and I'm worring about the volume and number of my son's daily feedings. Should I consider the WHO guidelines?

I’ve never read the WHO guidelines about feeding my child.
I have three kids.
I feed my kids when they are hungry.🤷🏻‍♀️

I was feeding my baby and she was happy before I read anything online and read that I’m doing almost everything wrong. Feeding her too much, not enough, not pace feeding, not sanitizing the bottles enough, sanitizing the bottles too much, drying them with a towel instead of air drying, but don’t air dry them too long... there are so many “rules” for feeding baby that didn’t exists even 5 years ago!
My baby girl is growing and happy and healthy!

Feed your baby when he is hungry. All babies are different. I have never looked at WHOs guidance on feedings. If you are worried they are not getting enough, I would say maybe invest in an infant scale to weigh baby before and after each feed to see how much they are actually eating.

I didn't even know there were WHO guidelines. Monitor wet diapers(it's normal for EBF babies to go days without pooping). You can do weighted feeds if you're really concerned, but if baby is peeing regularly then they're getting milk
