Met a nice man 4 years to my senior (He is 57 and a widow) and lives in two states. We met exactly two weeks ago and on our first date we went out with one of his closest friends who is a couple for dinner and back to his place. We had an amazing time and then he flew back upstate because of work but would be down here a week later. He talked about how excited he was to see me and couldn’t wait. He said he wanted to spend all 3 days with me while he was here. The first date went so amazing and I ended up sleeping with him because the energy felt so strong. The following day I left in the morning to do my own thing and was expecting to have plans with him as mention. The whole day passed and I get a text saying that he just finished golfing and was so tired aka we were not going to see one another. The following day I go over to have brunch and he introduces me to basically everyone he knows and even puts me on FaceTime with the couple we went on our first date with. I felt very special and he was vey lovey with me. He later left and let me know when he was back upstate at home. He did mention he was very busy since he has a business which I am understanding of. I texted him good morning and wished him a good day yesterday and I haven’t heard back from him? I found it very strange given the great time we had together?

I want to note that he would have been married to his wife for 31 years (6 years ago) if she had not passed away. On our first date he asked me what I was looking for and I said I wanted a serious relationship and he said the same.

All of last week he was calling and texting me everyday and out of nowhere he disappeared on me? It could be that he is busy but it just sounds so unlike him to do.

Am I overthinking this or did I get played?
