Period came later than expected?

Hi all, my first time posting. We’ve been actively TTC for over 15 months now. I’m 35. First month in a while I didn’t track my bbt. I have a very consistent 25 day cycle but this month when it didn’t come on Saturday... I let myself breathe a little hope this morning taking my first test after waiting 4 days that maybe... maybe... it was finally time... but it was negative.

I had a deeply sad moment, both for this frustration of TTC but also possible an-ovulation. I just got my period tonight and have all the feels. I just needed to share with others who may be feeling weary/wary too. Positive stories from others in this 35+ first pregnancy category do help.
