What should I do?

Last week there was a new mail man and he complained about our dog, who is no where near the mailbox, and my mom yelled at him and since then we've gotten mail one day and it was a different driver. I'm starting to think the other guy is purposely skipping our house. Should we contact the post office? Or wait to see if they're just backed up?

Why would your mom yell at him? That seems like it was uncalled for.
Mail carriers have a valid reason to be concerned about large or aggressive dogs, and frankly just dogs in general. 
People need to make sure that their dogs are out of the way when mail is being delivered. If you haven’t been doing that then yea, maybe he hasn’t delivered your mail. I’d go to the post office and discuss the situation and find out how to correct it.

He may be scared of dogs you could have just said sorry and don't put the dog outside during mail time. Also most post offices you can sign up for emails so you know what you should be getting every day

Why would she yell at the mail carrier? You need to have respect for the mail carriers and make sure your dog is put away so as not to scare them. It’s a legitimate concern and your mom should’ve been a bit more respectful for the person who brings your mail. Perhaps if she had more respect, you wouldn’t be having a problem getting your name.

Give it a little time. My husband has a lawn business and one of his employees parked close to our mailbox a couple times and the mail lady threatened to stop delivering our mail AND our neighbors mail if he didn’t move because they weren’t supposed to get out of the car to deliver mail. Well he stopped parking there but forgot one morning and then we didn’t get mail for the rest of the week. We were about to contact the post office because when she had spoken to me about it she was extremely rude and aggressive. We decided to wait and a few days later we had a couple pieces of mail. Apparently we just hadn’t gotten any mail for a few days because no one sent us any.

What should I do?
