Black on back of front teeth where gum meets teeth?

What is this? I just noticed it. I'm hoping maybe it's something just stuck to there and will brush off, but if not, what is it?

First I’d try to brush gum line to see if it comes off. Is it definitely on tooth or is it bruising at gums? I wouldn’t think our littles have even had their teeth long enough to get anything severe enough to be black.
