9+3 Do I need a full bladder?

Do I need to have a full bladder for my ultrasound? They haven’t mentioned it and last time was transvaginal.

I had my scan today and I was told to drink 1.5-2 pints an hour before the scan.
They said because my bladder was so full it made the scan really clear 🥰
