Hey gals,

I have been bleeding since January 13th. That was the day my period was originally supposed to start and it started on that day. There were two days, the 22nd and 23rd that I did not bleed. The 24th up until now, I have been bleeding and today been feeling crampy again. I know you can irregular periods and bleed more from months 3 to 6 with the Kyleena, but 16 days of a period is kind of excessive. If I don’t stop bleeding this week on my own, I am going to gyno and see what’s up. I do love my IUD! It has made my periods lighter for the most part and my cramps really tolerable (I used to think I was actually dying from them before the Kyleena). I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience and if the bleeding let up at all? I have heard of people just constantly bleeding from the Kyleena. I am going to be patient and seek medical advice within the next week if need be and hopefully all will be well.
