Is cramping a good sign in early pregnancy?

Hi all! I’m 4 1/2 weeks pregnant and have been having on and off some light cramping. Nothing intense. 
Is this a good sign usually that things are moving along? 🥳

I’m 4wks and 1 day today, I’ve been cramping lightly every day here and there. It’s just your uterus expanding and the hormones racing around your body. Nothing to be worried about. I know us mommy’s will worry ourselves to death. But the cramps are totally normal! Only get worried if they because sever cramps like you can’t even stand up kind of cramps.

I mean, it’s not a “good” sign, but it’s not a bad sign. It’s just normal! As long as it’s not intense and there’s no blood. All normal! (:

I had cramps from week 4 until about half way through week 5. I wanted an ultrasound as soon as possible, just because, so I went to a private place at week 6 and again at 7 and was able to see the little flutters of the heartbeat (baby wasn’t cooperating enough to hear it, but seeing it was reassuring).. I have my first OB appt tomorrow, I’ll be 9w6d. I’m not that much farther along than you are, but I did want to comment that so far, I’ve gotten positive outcomes after the constant early cramping!

I cramped until about 7-8 weeks!! I’m almost 12 now and they’re gone!
