After complaining about how my body wouldn’t go into labor on its own and I was so tired of being so pregnant my son had other plans.

On Tuesday I started having regular contractions that landed me in OBED where they decided to keep me. After getting an epidural (because this woman isn’t built for natural labor and applauds ALL who do it!) and finally sleeping after 24 hours of no sleep, things escalated quickly! I went from 3cm at 10am to 9 1/2 cm around 3pm. After another hour or so of letting him come down on his own we were ready! Once the dr came in and they set everything up it was 4:30 and by 4:54pm my son was born. 6lbs 8oz of perfection (I’m partial lol) and I’m so in love.

As a first time mom I still can’t believe my body did it but I’m thankful for the experience. Love like this is beautiful and I’m so happy 🥰 no
