C SECTION hospital bag?

Hi mama’s! 
Any fellow C Section mamas on here? What are you planning to pack in your bag? 
Is this your first c section or repeat? 
This is my first and I am watching videos on what to pack but still confused as there’s not a lot on YouTube specifically for c section. Lots of videos for labour and natural births.

2nd for me. I have two L&D gowns that have buttons in the back and front which allows for the nurses to check whatever they need to check afterwards as well as buttons on the shoulders for easy breast feeding. I'll start off in a hospital gown and once I can take a shower after baby is here I'll switch to my gown. I have a pair of loose lounge pants that I can pull up a little higher and a nursing shirt to wear home. Slippers/grippy socks. I like the mesh undies from the hospital just fine so I'll be using those. I bought some high waisted ones for home after I run out of my stash from the hospital.
The hospital provided me with a peri bottle, mesh undies, pads, abdominal binder. I don't remember using/needing much else.
As far as other general stuff: toiletries including TP from home (more so for hubby than me, we're not fans of the 1ply hospital stuff), my own washcloth and towel, and flip flops to wear in the shower. Phone chargers. My own pillow. A boppy pillow. Snacks. Letter board for announcement photo.

This is my list... this will be my 3rd. I way over/under packed because I ended up having an regency csectiom with my first. The hospital will provide mesh underwear and huge pads ( put a few in your bag to take home!). They should all give you a Belly Binder, use it /wear it. It helps alot with the pain. Don't bring anything that sits on your bikini line, it's tender and it hurts. Honestly anything in my abdomen area was tender so I wore night gowns and dresses for at least 2 weeks. You don't realize how often a little movement involves your stomach muscle, but everything does. Slow movements. Pillow pressure in the incision area. In my area the minimum stay is 3 days so be prepared for at least 3 days in the hospital. Bring Chapstick lol my lips always get so dry after the spinal tap they do. Drink as much water as you can and get up and walk as soon as you are comfortable, short distances. 
*Nothing tight in your mid section, probably a dress for your ride home again nothing tight. 
Ask for the BELLY BINDER!! 
*Always have a pillow near you (if you sneeze, cough, laugh, sit up, stand up, bend over... HUG THE PILLOW SNUGGLY AGAINST YOUR MID SECTION).

3rd for me.i basically just packed big tshirts with sweats that go over my stomach and high waisted paintes that went over my mesh underwear to make me deal more secure..and the rest was the regular essentials..

2nd c section for me. I have two gown, a nursing top and sweat pants- you will want something you can pull up above your incision. I also have some house slippers with grip on the bottom- you’ll have to get up and start walking that day or day after and will need something to hold your grip. I’m also going to bring my pump... I had a hard time getting my milk to come in which isn’t uncommon, but that way I have it and can start using it earlier because we didn’t know it was an issue until the second night. Of course toothbrush, soap, and stuff like that, your own pillow, boppy, to help with nursing, and for baby, a couple of outfits and blankets and his car seat. The hospital will have blankets and everything else baby will need and honestly if you forget soap or something they will have that too. I’ll also bring my laptop and phone chargers too, so I can FaceTime people so they can meet him that way and so I can see our other little boy in case they can’t come.

I’ll be attempting a VBAC but will bring the same things regardless - BaoBei Bloomers (these were amazing after my prior c-section), ultra thin overnight pads bc I prefer them to thick hospital ones, robe for after delivery (got mine from PinkBlush), toiletries, nursing pillow (going to bottle/formula feed but I want protection for the incision if I have a c-section), pillow from home, and snacks. Honesty nothing different for vaginal birth vs c-section for me 🤷🏼‍♀️
