Last week I posted about my best friends first prenatal check up.

(That appointment was 8 weeks after her last period started)

It was not handled well.

They told her "I'm sorry there's no heartbeat" and then left the room. They only spent 5 minutes or less in the room with her. No vitals, or blood work. Said the embryo only looked like it developed to 5.5 weeks and stopped.

And they had her come back today.

Today they said she is measuring at 6 weeks. Her last period started November 27th. (9 weeks ago)

They did hear a heartbeat this time but they said it was

**only at 80BPM which they classifiedas too slow**

and made another appointment for next week.

Has anyone had an experience like this?

A dr saying it stopped developing but then a week later there IS a heartbeat?

Also, has anyone ever had a baby with *SLOW* heartbeat at the first appointment? 《 80BPM 》

How did that turn out?
