I breastfed my first for 2.5 years, my second weaned himself around 16 months (he had a pretty traumatic surgery) and this time I'm just going to go as long as baby boy wants. There is no real cut off, just when you and baby feel ready. It's nobody's business whatsoever how little or long you breastfeed

I don’t think there is really a best age it’s different for everyone. I knew someone who breastfed until their son was 4 and others at 9 months. For myself I’m hoping to go a year and if he wants to continue I’ll continue but probably won’t go pat 2 years old
