Do you get your baby a flu shot? I do believe vaccines work and I’m not an antivaccer but the flu shot in a baby scared me, thought opinions?

I get mine done as soon as they're old enough. The flu KILLS babies. Why risk it

I didn’t get the flu shot for me or my son. He gets every other shot tho. I was forced to get it in school and it gave me the flu so I never got it again.

My thought was the opposite. The flu alone in a baby is scary. And I've been someone who never gets the flu shot myself. So yes, I got both my babes the flu shot because the flu sounds scarier for my baby to get.

The UK they don't get it until they are 2. And as an adult you only get it if you have other health conditions or over a certain age. I got it this year due to being pregnant and my eldest got it as she's 5. My other 2 children, 19 months and newborn won't get it until the winter after they turn 2 🤷🏼‍♀️

Me, my fiance, his two older children in school all got one. My 19 month old didn't get one. With covid she dosen't get out around anyone. And my outings are very limited. She will get one next year or whenever we can start getting out more.

We wanted the whole family to get the shots this year but due to covid there was a shortage of vaccines and we got put on a waiting list. We still haven’t received a phone call to book an appointment. We’re in Germany

Mine got her flu shot at 6 months and will be getting the booster as well. She was absolutely fine. 
The flu kills babies and hospitals are over flowing with COVID patients. Protect your babies and keep the hospitals focused on COVID (as much as possible).

I had my baby get the flu shot for sure this year. With covid going around the last thing I wanted was for her to have both Covid and the flu. Or to recover from one just to get sick with the other.
