Question

What are the chances of a uti going undetected? Urine was not sent off for further testing just checked out at place. Nothing was found only dehydration.

I’ve gone to the doctor for a UTI where they said all they see are white blood cells (which could be from a cut or irritation) and they send it out for culturing. They usually give me an antibiotic anyway. Twice the doctor has agreed that I have a UTI and I’ve started the antibiotics and it’s improved within 24 hours and my symptoms have resolved, but the culture came back negative because the bacterial growth was below the diagnostic threshold. My doctor and I agree that I’ve just had so much experience with UTIs that I probably catch them quicker than their tests can. 
So cranberry juice and pills, a probiotic and lots of water. If it persists, go back. You might just know yourself very well.

Did you go and tell them you thought it was a UTI? They usual ask for a sample and they know because 1) it’s cloudy 2) they test the sample 
Have you all the usual symptoms, urge to 
 Pee, burning when you urinate etc

Drink lots of water, sometimes you get to the doctors too early and nothing shows up on their dipstick. If you still feel it go back and get them to dip another sample. 🤞 I hope it gets sorted for you xxx

Unlikely considering it can cause serious harm in a short amount of time, which you will definitely feel.
