My husband and I have an 8 year old boy. I was off birthday control for 5 months and had 1 solid period from the time I stopped birth control until I conceived my son. He was a complete surprise.

We are now trying for our 2nd and I’m feeling very discouraged.

I’ve been off birth control since July 28, 2020. Normal cycles started right back up and here we are during ovulation week and I had read literally everything on conceiving.

Anyone have any advice?
