Has anyone had an Endoscopy done?

Hello ladies, have any of you ever had an endoscopy done? Can you tell me about your experience. I might need to get one done and Im super nervous about lol I know Im a big baby!! But I have horrible gagging reflexes🙄 Was it scary, did you guys gag the whole time?? Lol I really don’t want to have this done😢😭😅

I had one a few years back. It was so simple and easy i promise. They just make you bite on this thing that keeps your mouth open and put you to sleep. It was so quick i didn't even know the procedure was done when i woke back up lol

I had one done Jan 13th . Wasn’t really bad at all . The only thing that bothered me was then putting that mouth piece in but that’s because I’m tiny and they had a hard time fitting it . Also my blood pressure dropped super low twice so they had to give me stuff . But again , that’s more of a me issue .  Throat wasn’t too sore after either but incase yours is .. get some icecream and stuff (: and enjoy the drugs while they wear off 🤣 my nurses were laughing so hard !

I had a horrible horrible fear of waking up with the thing down my throat lol.  Needless to say they make sure you dont wake up while the procedure is being done.     It wasnt bad at all for me the only thing is to expect a pretty sore throat so you might was to get some soup and such for after wards
