I was diagnosed at 5 weeks and put on pelvic rest and progesterone. It was gone at the 13 week ultrasound and discontinued the progesterone. Everything went smoothly with the pregnancy besides me getting high blood pressure at 38 weeks but I was able to make it to 40 weeks without developing preeclampsia. My son is almost 19 weeks now and healthy.

Normal, no. I bled from 5-15 weeks so that’s never normal, and I was completely stressed out every time I saw my bloody underwear, which isn’t healthy either. My SCH started small at 5 weeks, but kept getting bigger until 8 weeks, then it started to leave my uterus and go into my Fallopian tubes where it gradually broke down until 15 weeks. 
I’ve had other issues as well, but completely unrelated to my SCH. In the beginning of my pregnancy my gestational sac was too small, so my dr monitored me with weekly ultrasounds until it finally caught up to where it should be at 11 weeks. I was on complete bedrest until 10 weeks which was not fun. I also had super low TSH in the beginning (0.05) so I’ve had to test my thyroid hormones monthly and meet with an endocrinologist every 2 months. I tested positive for Group B Strep at 12 weeks, and it’s still there even after 2 rounds of antibiotics. At my anatomy scan the dr found some placental lakes (basically pools of blood in my placenta), which can be harmless, but need to be monitored nonetheless because they can potentially cause issues. I’m also super high risk for preeclampsia because I had it with my first baby, so I’ve been on baby aspirin since 13 weeks and heavily monitored. I have my first growth scan next week at 28 weeks and I’m terrified they’ll find something wrong because I feel like I just can’t get a break. 
So far the baby has been healthy from the beginning, so that’s my biggest blessing, but my pregnancy has been anything but normal.

You mean like a healthy baby or all around normal? Cause bleeding during pregnancy already isn’t considered normal, but it is common. I bled from week 5-15 and baby has been fine. I’ve had other complications but not related to the hemorrhages(I had one large one and one small one). I’m 22 weeks tomorrow.
