Thoughts?

What are your thoughts on ttc after miscarriage before you have had your period? Little background, I started to miscarry 01/14 and bled until 01/18. I was 7 weeks exactly at the time but only measuring 5w2d, I went back for an ultrasound and the tech and NP said everything had passed and looked good. My NP said no unprotected sex for 2 weeks to make sure I don’t get an infection. She also told me I could wait till I get a period to start trying again but some women get pregnant without having a period after. I just got my first positive opk today, I do feel like I have physically healed and have healed enough emotionally to try again.
