So my best friend asked me to come to this party of a guy who her boyfriend is mates with but I said no because I slept w that guy and he pressured me into it basically. We agreed that I would meet them out later and this has been talk for a few weeks now.

The day comes and she basically isn’t really replying to me all day and when I went out I messaged her and asked her, to which she simply just did not reply. I messaged her about something else and so in the morning she just replied to that.

I know it was intentional, and I’m pretty bothered by it. We have been friends for like 10 years and she met this girl a couple months back who I met last weekend and as soon as we were around this girl she the friend goes to her other friend “this is my best friend but she’s been ditching me!” (she’s really only been hanging out with me) and was being a bit rude all night & I know they were hanging with each other yesterday.

I’m not at all the type to care if my best friend has other friends bc WTF if I did but I don’t like people who act like someone is designated to them and act a way towards me because they are jealous basically. I particularly don’t like girls who make friends ignore you because they only want someone to themselves.

Anyway, what do you think I do about the situation. Because we are 23 this year and I think we are too old to be doing this type of sh** by our friends. I can’t really cut her off because I got her a traineeship at my work. 🤣
