Night feedings?

Question

Anybodys child still waking up at night to eat? How did u stop it? Any advice. My 1 yr old is still waking up at night to eat. 😬

I fed my first occasionally through the night until around 2 (breastfed until 2 1/2). She wasn't a great eater of solid food so i felt she needed it and even if it was for comfort, I was okay meeting that need too. My second little one is one and latches or nurses periodically to fall back asleep at night (cosleep). It is often comfort related and teething. My first daughter gradually stopped on her own and sleeps great now at 4 so i know my second will as well. You definitely dont have to feel pressure not to meet baby's needs or wants  for comfort. 
If you do want to make a change, thats okay too. Many people suggest a good snack with healthy fat before bed such as avocado or whole milk yogurt. Then you know baby should be more likely to be full. When baby(now toddler) wakes, you can offer water and hope that change will change the habit. Of course you can also comfort baby without any drink as well and put back down. 
The choice is what works best for your family. I will add during this stage until 18 months my first daughter was waking the most, i believe because combination of teething and development, but it got better with time alone.I understand everyone's need for sleep though!

Mine still wakes at night to nurse. I don’t have it in me to hear him cry if I stop. My mother in law says that all of her 5 kids did the same and all weaned them selves closer to 18 months. I’m just going to be hopeful that that happens. 🤞🏼

You gotta wien them off. A big bottle before bed, and stop feeding at night. Its out of habit, not out of actual hunger. So you just have to train them to stop. So if they wake, go in and comfort them. But no feeding. They will be mad. They will cry. But they will learn. It will take a bit to train it out of them. But its doable! (My sister is a sleep consultant). Eventually they will learn they aren't getting fed and will stop waking to eat.

My 6 year old still fed through the night and stopped just before she was 2.  (Formula fed) 
My son who will be 13 months feb 2nd is breastfed and still wakes up 3-4 times and I’m fine with it he will eventually sleep through the night like my daughter.

Yes mine is but I reckon I can keep feeding her at night for a few more months so I’m not in a hurry to stop her yet.

My daughter isn't a big eater and still wakes up to nurse during the night. She turned one on 1/4/20. She still likes to eat the Gerber oatmeal or cereal but she takes it through a bottle mixed with a Gerber Fruit. She doesn't like regular oatmeal texture. It has helped her sleep through the night, and I usually do this twice a week. Mind you This Is My Solution, especially bc she should be eating "regular" food now. She eats, she just doesn't eat much even not letter her drink alot like the doctor suggested. This works for me us though and for at least 2 nights I get a full night sleep.
