Let me start by saying I am not considering this positive (dye run = invalid etc) and will be retesting.

I’m wondering if generally anyone has noticed Pregmate tests having bad dye runs or if I got a bad batch or something? It’s always a single thick dye run in the middle, not swirls or blotches. I used 22 opks and have taken 8 hpts from this box, and at least half of them have had dye run like this. It says to dip for 3 seconds, which I followed at first and then I started dipping for only 2 seconds and not even half way to the max line (I’m using a stopwatch a I have the seconds confirmed).

I’ve taken a LOT of ovulation tests and pregnancy tests (like A LOT) so I’m pretty confident I’m not just screwing up somehow but seriously over half have these massive dye runs. This was taken at 5 minutes, but if it goes like all the others it will dry like this (the dye never clears the test).

Bad batch maybe? This is my first time using Pregmate.
