Anyone else experience this?

I am trying for baby #3 and it’s harder than my first two. With my first, I got pregnant RIGHT after depo shot. With my second, I got pregnant RIGHT after I got the implant out of my arm. With # 3 we are trying for, I haven’t been on BC in over a year, and have been trying for 6 months now. And it seems harder than with the first two coming directly off BC.  Has anyone else experienced this as well?

Yes.  My first 2 were unplanned with my ex husband.  Now that my boyfriend and I are trying to conceive, it is proving to be difficult.

A lot of people experience this. Some wind up with secondary infertility (in which they wind up needing medical treatment, all the way up to IVF). Don’t feel like you’re alone. It seems like stress and age seem to be some of the biggest tractors with secondary, but it also can take a normal, healthy couple a year to conceive. Immediately is mostly a lot of good luck. Keep on the path :)
