Pacifier

My baby girl is five weeks old and highly prefers to sleep on my chest. I know this isn’t preferred so I only do that in times of desperation so I’m working very hard to get her to sleep in her crib. She will only sleep in there with her pacifier which is fine except that her pacifier falls out every 10 to 15 minutes and she cries until I put it back in. I’m pretty confident that if the pacifier stayed in her mouth she would sleep the 4-5 hour stretches that she does on my chest. Any suggestions for keeping the pacifier in her mouth? Other than taping it to her face? LOL JK 🤪

I would recommend looking up the safe sleep 7 for safe cosleeping guidelines. That way if you do end up sleeping together, you can rest assured you’re doing it safely 🙂

That’s wonderful! The Beyond Sleep Training group on fb is a great resource for more info too

Yes, definitely. I’m super cautious. We only co-sleep on the couch with no pillows or blankets near her.
