I’d call & have them give you instructions if they didn’t. For mine, they said I no eating 2 hours before, then 1 hour before to do the drink. They were pretty specific on the times, so I’d call. (Like drink this between 9:05 -9:15)

I was told to fast 2-3 hrs before. I passed doing so.

My OB said a low carb breakfast was fine. I had eggs and bacon and then took the test and hour later, passed with fly colors

My midwife is sending me for the 3hr right away to minimize the chance of needing to go back in due to covid. 🤷‍♀️ The 3hr requires an 8hr fast (so im just going to go right when i wake up in the AM). The 1 hr does not require a fast, just dont have any sugar and simple carbs in the day leading up to it or you could get a false positive and have to do the 3hr too for nothing

I have the 1hr test at 2:30 in the afternoon.  They said to eat normally but avoid sugar and carbs.  Then once I drink the drink 1hr before the test no eating or drinking even water.

For the one hour I was instructed that I can eat, but don’t eat something with a lot of sugar before. The three hour I believe you need to fast. Double check with your doctor!
