Brie cheese safe?

Can we eat baked Brie cheese when pregnant?? I always thought brie wasnt safe but some say it is so now I don’t know lol

If you bake it, it’s completely fine to eat. But I’ve been eating goat cheese and I’ve been completely fine too lol.

If it’s made in the US it’s most likely safe as we pasteurize practically everything here. I’ve been eating lots of soft cheeses this pregnancy, but I make sure everything is pasteurized first.

I’ve been eating any cheese that is either pasteurized or thoroughly cooked. Depending on your Brie, baked Brie might be both!

Trust me, it’s not worth the guilt after 😂 I was told Camembert was also a no no and at Christmas I caved and demolished a whole baked Camembert but I tell you what I sat and cried after as I felt so guilty (also not a good mix with pregnant hormones haha)
