Would you trust a guy if he said he got checked for stds?

I been talking to this guy for over a month and I’m ready to have sex with him. He said he got checked 2 weeks ago and since we been seeing each of other he hasn’t had sex. I don’t wanna make it seem like I don’t trust him but I just don’t trust anyone anymore. I wanna make sure he’s clean because I’m allergic to most condoms

Also I don’t have a latex allergy but am allergic to the ones with spermicidal lube, maybe look into different types of condoms.

A retest should be normal protocol.

Definitely ask for proof and also try to find a condom that you aren’t allergic to. Even if his test says he’s “clean”, there are stds that can lie dormant for a while and then flare up out of nowhere and pass on to the next person

You should always make someone get tested for STDs and show you the proof that they’re absolutely CLEAN. No exceptions. Don’t trust the lies guys tell you to get ya in bed. You honestly need to assume everyone has them. No on will be honest if they don’t want to.
