Help!!

So I was suppose to get my period friday. I had sex Friday night and I bleed a lot which never happens, so I thought I got my period. But the next day it was gone and I haven’t really bled since, some spotting but that’s it. I did a pregnancy test yesterday it was negative, could I still be pregnant? Should I take another test in how long? Has this happened to anyone else?
